KSCA elections postponed to December 30
The Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) elections have been postponed to December 30.
The elections were due to be held on November 30. A notice issued by the KSCA Office of the Electoral Officer stated that “elections cannot be conducted at this stage without removing the doubts among members”, and thus the election process must be deferred to December 30.
Former India cricketer Venkatesh Prasad, candidate for the post of KSCA President, stated that he was “shocked to hear that the elections were deferred”.

For the president’s post, Prasad will contest against K.N. Shanth Kumar, Director of The Printers (Mysore) Pvt. Limited. Shanth Kumar, part of ‘Team Brijesh’, is backed by former India cricketer and administrator Brijesh Patel.
A representative from ‘Team Brijesh’ stated that the deferment of the KSCA elections was “completely unexpected”. “We want the elections to be held as per the original schedule,” the ‘Team Brijesh’ representative said.
