Krishnakumar (USA) and Ramesh (IND) Crowned Champions at UNIFI–ITF J60 Junior Cup 2025


New Delhi – The finals of the UNIFI–ITF J60 Junior Cup 2025 concluded with a spectacular display of skill and composure from the next generation of tennis talent. Spectators were treated to a showcase of competitive and intelligent tennis as champions were crowned across four categories.

In the Boys’ Singles final, Yashwin Krishnakumar of the USA delivered a commanding performance to defeat the second seed, Vraj Gohil. Krishnakumar started strong, dominating the first set and maintaining his momentum to seal the championship with a decisive 6-1, 6-4 victory.

The Girls’ Singles final saw second seed Diya Ramesh triumph over fourteenth seed Parthsarthi Arun Mundhe. After a competitive opening set, Ramesh elevated her game significantly, clinching the title with a confident 6-4, 6-0 win.

Ramesh continued her stellar run in the Girls’ Doubles final, securing her second title of the tournament. Partnering with Savitha Bhuvaneswaran as the fourth-seeded pair, they overcame the top seeds, Aishwarya Jadhav and Snigdha Kanta, in a well-fought match, winning 6-4, 6-1.

In the Boys’ Doubles final, the fifth-seeded duo of Aradhya Kshitij and Nikhil Kurapati proved too strong for their opponents. They defeated the sixth-seeded pair of Shaurya Bharadwaj and Shivtej Shirufule in straight sets, 6-3, 6-3, to lift the trophy.

The tournament successfully highlighted the depth of emerging talent, and congratulations are extended to all the winners and participants for their fantastic efforts.
