Jacob Bethell smashes second-fastest hundred in T20 World Cups during India vs England semifinal
England’s Jacob Bethell scored the second-fastest hundred in T20 World Cups, during his side’s semifinal against India at the Wankhede on Thursday.
Bethell reached his hundred in just 45 deliveries, with a six against Hardik Pandya.
On Wednesday, New Zealand’s Finn Allen had smashed a 33-ball hundred against South Africa in the first semifinal of T20 World Cup 2026.
Bethell’s hundred is also the second in a knockout game at the T20 World Cup, after Allen.
