IPL 2026: Who is Salil Arora, Punjab batter making his debut for Sunrisers Hyderabad vs RCB?
Salil Arora, who was bought by the Sunrisers Hyderabad at the IPL auction for a price of Rs. 1.5 crore, will make his debut for the side against RCB in the opening fixture of the 2026 IPL season.
The wicket-keeper batter from Punjab is expected to feature in the middle order for SRH.
Arora enjoyed a strong domestic season in 2025, especially in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. He had a breakthrough campaign for Punjab, where he scored 358 runs from eight innings at a strike rate of nearly 200.
The highlight of his season came in a knockout game against Jharkhand where he scored a 39-ball hundred.
