elcome to Sportstar’s live coverage of the T20 World Cup Group A encounter between India and Namibia in New Delhi.
India enters the contest on the back of a tougher-than-expected win over the USA in its opening encounter. The Netherlands outplayed Namibia in its season opener.
The two sides have met once before in T20Is — India beat Namibia by nine wickets in the group stages of the World Cup in Dubai in 2021.
India is expected to make a couple of changes to its playing eleven. Jasprit Bumrah was back bowling at full tilt during practice yesterday and could find a spot back. Mohammed Siraj might have to make way despite picking three at the Wankhede last time out. Abhishek Sharma hasn’t trained since suffering a stomach bug the day before the USA game. If he isn’t fully ready, Sanju Samson could find a spot at the top of the order.
