India to tour Ireland for first T20Is after 2026 World Cup win
India, the T20 World Cup champion, will tour Ireland in June for a two-match series, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced on Saturday.
It will be the Men in Blue’s first T20 series after it won the World Cup, beating New Zealand by 96 runs in Ahmedabad on March 8.
Having toured Ireland three times in the past eight years (2018, 2022 and 2023), this tour will also mark India’s return to Belfast for the first time since 2007.
For Ireland, meanwhile, the tour is part of a busy 2026 schedule, which involves a one-off Test against New Zealand and five ODIs against Afghanistan.
