India A vs Australia A, 2nd unofficial Test: Prasidh Krishna retires hurt due to concussion
Indian pacer Prasidh Krishna was forced to retire out on Day 2 of the second unofficial Test between India A and Australia A on Wednesday in Lucknow.
Prasidh was hit on the helmet by a bouncer from Aussie pacer Henry Thornton. He was soon tested for concussion and after a couple of deliveries, he decided to retired hurt.
The 29-year-old was batting on 16 when the injury happened, ending a promising rearguard stand for the eighth wicket between him and Sai Sudharsan.
Earlier in the match, Prasidh had a disappointing outing with the ball, conceding 76 runs from 17 overs, while taking just a solitary wicket.
