IND vs SA: Arshdeep Singh bowls longest over by an Indian in T20Is

Arshdeep Singh bowled the longest over by an Indian, in terms of balls delivered, during India’s second T20I against South Africa in New Chandigarh on Thursday.

The left-arm pacer’s over, in which he bowled seven wide deliveries, lasted 13 balls. The previous longest over by an Indian was 11 balls, bowled by Khaleel Ahmed and Hardik Pandya.

Khaleel had bowled a 13-ball over in Pallekele against Sri Lanka in 2021 while Pandya created the ignominious record in Adelaide in 2016.
