IND vs PAK: India qualifies for semifinals of U-19 World Cup 2026

India has qualified for the semifinals of the ICC U-19 World Cup 2026 after Pakistan failed to complete its chase inside 33.3 overs in their Super Sixes clash at the Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo on Sunday.

After being sent in to bat by Pakistan, India posted 252 from 49.5 overs, powered by 68 from Vedant Trivedi. Already trailing India on Net Run Rate, Pakistan needed to overhaul the target inside 33.3 overs in order to jump over India’s NRR but could not do so.

By the 33.3 over mark, Farhan Yousaf’s men could only reach 167 for four.

India’s opponent in the semifinals will be determined by the result of the match. If it wins, it will jump above England to top of the group and face Afghanistan on Wednesday, February 4, while a defeat will set up a meeting with Australia on Tuesday, February 3.
