Former BH Video Editor Tracy Dies at 37


Scott Tracy, who worked in video production for BloodHorse from 2012-15, died Feb. 28. He was 37.

In his obituary, the Tracy family noted his career achievements and the pride he took in his work and treatment of others.

“His career took him across the country, where he worked at Blood-Horse Publications, Angie’s List, and as a senior manager of multimedia production at Paylocity,” reads the obituary. “True to his high-achieving nature, Scott also had his own multimedia business. Those who worked with him will always remember his genuine and caring approach working with and advocating for others, along with his impeccable dedication to his beloved trade. As a gifted cinematographer he had the incredible opportunity to capture footage at the iconic Triple Crown horse races, as well as create unforgettable moments in the world of film and video.”
