England to tour South Africa for three Tests, ODIs: Dates, venue, schedule announced
The England men’s cricket team will tour South Africa for three Tests and as many One-Day International (ODI) matches from December 2026 to January 2027, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) announced on Monday.
The Test series will get underway on December 17 at the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg before the traditional Boxing Day Test at SuperSport Park in Centurion. The iconic New Year’s Test will take place at Newlands Cricket Ground in Cape Town.
The first ODI will be played at Boland Park in Paarl, after which the final two matches of the series will be held at the Mangaung Oval in Bloemfontein.
The ECB also stated that the originally planned T20I series was removed from the schedule due to scheduling conflicts, with both parties exploring opportunities to reschedule it at a later date.
