Earthquake in Dhaka — Bangladesh v Ireland temporarily halted due to tremors

Play in the second Test between Bangladesh and Ireland at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur, Dhaka, was halted briefly on the third day after an earthquake was felt at the ground.

Ireland was 165 for five, just after the 55th over of the second innings, when tremors caused a short interruption.

“Goodness. Play has stopped here due to a minor tremor/earthquake,” Cricket Ireland wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
