Delaware Park Cancels Racing July 25 Due to Heat
Acting upon the recommendation of the Delaware Thoroughbred Racing Commission, veterinarians and stewards, Delaware Park has canceled the racing scheduled for Friday, July 25, due to the excessive heat index forecast by the National Weather Service, which is expected to be above 105º for the region.
The live racing card July 24 will be run as scheduled. Following Friday’s cancellation, racing is scheduled to resume on Saturday, July 26.
