Bihar registers highest List A team total during Vijay Hazare Trophy match vs Arunachal Pradesh
Bihar registered the highest team total in List A cricket during its Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025-26 match against Arunachal Pradesh in Ranchi on Wednesday.
Bihar ended with a mammoth total of 574/6, shattering the existing record held by Tamil Nadu, which posted 506/2 against Arunachal Pradesh in the same tournament in 2022.
Bihar’s batting effort was led by hundreds from Vaibhav Suryavanshi (190), Ayush Loharuka (116) and Sakibul Gani.
With his ton, Suryavanshi became the youngest centurion in List A cricket. Gani brought up his hundred in just 32 balls, making it the fastest hundred by an Indian in the format.
