AUS-W vs NZ-W: Amelia Kerr becomes third New Zealand player to take 100 wickets in women’s ODIs
All-rounder Amelia Kerr became the third New Zealand player to reach 100 wickets in women’s One-Day Internationals (ODIs).
The 24-year-old leg-break bowler reached the milestone on Wednesday during the Women’s ODI World Cup match between Australia and New Zealand at the Holkar Stadium in Indore.
Kerr removed Phoebe Litchfield during the match to pick her 100th wicket in the format. The opener misread the line and was deceived by the googly, which crashed into her off stump.
She went on to take another as Annabel Sutherland holed out to Suzie Bates at mid-on.
