Ashes 2025-26: Australia hammers England in second Test, takes 2-0 series lead
Australia beat England by eight wickets in the second Test on Sunday to take a 2-0 lead in the 2025-26 Ashes series being played Down Under.
England came undone by Michael Neser’s maiden Test five-wicket haul, leaving Australia with only a small target of 65 to chase down in Brisbane.

Travis Head and Jake Weatherland stepped on the gas to add 37 runs for the opening wicket, but the former was dismissed by Gus Atkinson right after Dinner.
Atkinson went on to remove Marnus Labuschagne in his next over, but skipper Steve Smith saw his team over the line in quick time, finshing off in a style with a six over backward square leg.
