The latest round of fixtures of the County Championship began on Friday, with two Indian players, Jaydev Unadkat and Manav Suthar featuring in this set of matches. Day 3 witnessed both players take part in their sides’ pushes for victory.
Unadkat went wicketless as his Sussex side defeated Glamorgan. The veteran seamer sent down 20 overs for 52 runs as it won by an innings and 98 runs.
Suthar, meanwhile, managed one wicket against Yorkshire. He ended the hosts’ second innings with figures of 1/74 from 22 overs, dismissing Sam Whiteman for eight, and Warwickshire is now facing a chase of 453.
