Ruturaj Gaikwad records 21st List A century during India A vs Sri Lanka A match
Ruturaj Gaikwad scored his 21st List A century during India A vs Sri Lanka A Tri Nation A series at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium in Dambulla on Tuesday.
Gaikwad completed his hundred off 112 balls with the help of six fours and three sixes. He fell a couple of balls later, finishing on 101 off 114 balls.
The India A vice captain came into bat at number four when the side lost both its openers — Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and Prabhsimran Singh — in quick succession. He then added run-a-ball 53 runs with Priyansh Arya before adding 150 runs with captain Tilak Varma for the fourth wicket.
Out of 21 List A hundreds, Gaikwad has scored four of them for India A. His best score in List A cricket is 220 not out for Maharashtra against Uttar Pradesh in 2022.
