I feel so happy playing in this group: Virat Kohli after Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s second IPL title

Virat Kohli said that he was “so happy to be playing in this group” after Royal Challengers Bengaluru secured its second consecutive IPL title at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday.

Kohli played an unbeaten hand of 75 from 42 balls with nine fours and three sixes in order to see his side over the line in the final on Sunday.

“I feel so happy to play in a group where we have balance, we have strength, and we have an all-round strong team. That’s why we have the confidence we have on the field right now,” Kohli told broadcasters after the match.

Kohli said that the team had not felt the same pressure to win the title in 2026 after securing its first title last year. “It doesn’t feel like there’s same pressure as we had last year. We topped the table and said we’re the best if we execute our plans,” he said.
