GT vs RR, IPL 2026 Qualifer 2: Sooryavanshi misses out on century again
After missing out on the fastest ever century in the history of the IPL by three runs against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Eliminator, Rajasthan Royals opener Vaibhav Sooryavanshi missed it by four runs in Qualifier 2 against Gujarat Titans, smashing his third IPL century in Mullanpur on Wednesday night.
Sooryavanshi, who was batting on 96, was one hit away from reaching a memorable century. But as it happened in the game against Sunrisers Hyderabad, Sooryavanshi got out while trying to play an upper cut, holing out to deep third in the process.
