GT vs RR, IPL 2026: Confusion leads to two coin tosses in Qualifier 2
A confusion at the toss led to two coin flips between Gujarat Titans and Rajasthan Royals in Qualifier 2 in Mullanpur on Friday.
Here is what exactly happened. During the first coin toss, RR captain Riyan Parag called tails and the coin fell in favour of GT captain Shubman Gill.
However, match referee Prakash Bhatt did not hear which side of the coin Parag called and as a result, requested Gill to flip the coin again. The second coin toss ultimately fell in Parag’s favour, who opted to bat first.
