Pakistan’s Hasan Ali stretchered off the field during second Test against Bangladesh
Pakistan pacer Hasan Ali was stretchered off the field on the opening day of the second Test against Bangladesh in Sylhet on Saturday.
Bowling his first over of the match, Hasan slammed his head on the pitch while attempting to take the catch of Tanzid Hasan off his own bowling. He seemed disoriented after the incident and was eventually taken off the field on a stretcher. Salman Ali Agha completed Hasan’s over, bowling the final delivery.
However, Hasan returned in the 16th over, with the move appearing precautionary, and resumed bowling before the end of the morning session.
Bangladesh beat Pakistan by 104 runs in the series opener in Mirpur and is looking to level the two-match series.
Hasan had picked four wickets in the first Test, including three in the second innings.
