Raju Kulkarni to continue as Cricket Improvement Committee chairman

Former India fast bowler Raju Kulkarni will continue as the chairman of the Cricket Improvement Committee (CIC), the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) announced on Monday, with Sangita Katware and Preeti Dimri joining him on the panel.

Kulkarni and Dimri have been part of the CIC for some time, while Katware replaces Sahil Kukreja this year. According to the MCA, the “newly constituted committee will play a key role in strengthening Mumbai cricket’s development framework, with a focus on enhancing grassroots structures, talent identification, player development pathways, and overall cricketing excellence across all levels.”

Former India captain Dilip Vengsarkar and former India women’s captain Diana Edulji will continue as cricket advisors.

“The Cricket Improvement Committee will continue to drive initiatives that strengthen Mumbai cricket,” said Ajinkya Naik, president of the MCA.
