Most runs in a T20 World Cup edition: Pakistan’s Sahibzada Farhan breaks Virat Kohli’s record
Pakistan opener Sahibzada Farhan broke the record for the most runs in a single T20 World Cup edition during the Super Eight encounter against Sri Lanka in Pallekele on Saturday.
The tournament’s leading run-scorer overtook former Indian skipper Virat Kohli, who recorded 319 runs during the 2014 edition.

The right-handed opener has scored a century and two fifties for Pakistan this World Cup and will hope to lead the side through to the semifinal of the competition with a convincing win over the home side in its final Super Eight encounter.
