WPL 2026: Who is the Purple Cap winner in Women’s Premier League fourth edition?


Sophie Devine of Gujarat Giants ended the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2026 season with the most wickets to claim the Purple Cap.

The GG all-rounder picked 17 wickets in nine matches, with an economy of 8.28. She recorded her season’s best bowling figures of four for 37 in a league stage match against Delhi Capitals.

Nandini Sharma of Delhi Capitals also shared the top spot with the Kiwi player, picking up 17 wickets in 10 innings but with a slightly lower economy of 8.32.

The 2026 season concluded on Thursday, February 5, with RCB beating DC by six wickets in the final, played at the Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara, to clinch the WPL title.
