Shami, Akash Deep named in Bengal’s 18-member squad for Ranji Trophy quarterfinal vs Andhra
International pacers Mohammed Shami, Akash Deep and Mukesh Kumar have been named in the 18-member Bengal team for its Ranji Trophy quarterfinal match against Andhra Pradesh at Kalyani starting on Friday.
Abhimanyu Easwaran will lead the squad.
Bengal topped the Group C in the league stage with 36 points, winning five out of its seven matches and drawing the other two. Uttarakhand is the other team from the Group to qualify for the knockouts.
