South Africa and West Indies will look to finalise their preparations for next month’s T20 World Cup with a three-match T20I series, starting on Tuesday at Boland Park in Paarl.
The Proteas, led by Aiden Markram, are coming off a 1-3 series defeat in India, while a second-string West Indies team suffered a 1-2 loss to Afghanistan earlier this month.
With the T20 World Cup looming, South Africa has decided to rest Quinton de Kock, Tristan Stubbs and Marco Jansen for the upcoming series. Meanwhile, led by Shai Hope, a full-strength West Indies will take the field against the Proteas.
