Why is Jasprit Bumrah not playing in India vs New Zealand 2nd T20I in Raipur?
Indian pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah was not named in India’s playing eleven for the second T20I against New Zealand at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Stadium in Raipur on Friday.
The 32-year-old pacer was replaced in the starting line-up by Harshit Rana, with Kuldeep Yadav also coming in for the injured Axar Patel.
Skipper Suryakumar Yadav said at the toss that Bumrah has been rested for the match in Raipur. He had finished with figures of 0/29 in three overs in the previous encounter in Nagpur, in which India triumphed by 48 runs.
