Vaibhav Suryavanshi smashes hundred in India vs UAE Under-19 Asia Cup match
Indian opener Vaibhav Suryavanshi scored a quickfire hundred against UAE in an Under-19 Asia Cup match in Dubai on Friday.
The left-handed opening batter got to his hundred in just 56 balls in the first match of the tournament. Suryavanshi had already smashed five fours and nine sixes by the time he had crossed the three-figure mark.
This is the second hundred for the 14-year-old in Youth ODIs, after the 143 he had scored against England in July this year.
Earlier this month, Suryavanshi scored his maiden century in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy during the group-stage match between Bihar and Maharashtra, becoming the youngest to score a ton in SMAT history.
The Asia Cup will be a major preparatory tournament for the Indian unit ahead of the Under-19 ODI World Cup in 2026.
