IND vs SA, 3rd ODI: Yashasvi Jaiswal scores maiden half century

India batter Yashasvi Jaiswal on Saturday notched up his maiden fifty in ODIs during the third match against South Africa at the ACA-VDCA Stadium in Visakhapatnam.

Playing just his fourth match in the format, Jaiswal secured his milestone in 75 balls with the help of four fours and one six.

Jaiswal, who found a place in the side due the injury to Shubman Gill, had failed to secure big scores in the opening two games of this series. He scored 18 in the first match in Ranchi and 22 in the second in Raipur.

His only other appearance in ODIs came in February this year, against England at Nagpur, where he scored 15 runs off 22 balls.

The 50-over format is the only in which Jaiswal does not have a century to his name. He has one in T20Is and seven in Tests.
