Afghanistan Cricket Boards signs MoU with Uzbekistan to boost cricket development

The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Cricket Federation of Uzbekistan (CFU) to strengthen cooperation and boost cricket development between the two nations.

Under the agreement, the ACB will extend technical and developmental support to Uzbekistan in areas such as coaching education, umpiring and officiating training, strength and conditioning, physiotherapy programs, video analysis, talent identification, technical courses and development camps.

Afghanistan’s junior teams, including the ‘A’ side and the Under-19 team, will also take part in bilateral fixtures organised by the CFU in Uzbekistan.

“This two-way cooperation is expected to significantly strengthen relations between the two nations and deepen regional cricket ties,” the ACB said in a statement released on Monday.
