UP U-23 opener Adarsh Singh slams double century against Mumbai in State A Trophy semifinals
Uttar Pradesh Under-23 opener Adarsh Singh slammed a double century against Mumbai in the Men’s State A Trophy Elite semifinal at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Tuesday.
Adarsh reached the milestone in just 129 deliveries with the help of 13 fours and 16 sixes.
The 20-year-old started slow and reached his hundred in 103 balls in the 39th over before taking off and scoring his next 50 runs in just 15 balls.
UP eventually reached 453 for five in the first innings with Adarsh unbeaten on 223 off 138 deliveries, hitting 18 sixes and 14 fours during his knock.
The left-handed batter was part of India U-19 team in the 2024 World Cup and scored 238 runs in seven matches with the highest score of 76.
