BAN vs IRE, 2nd Test: Bangladesh v Ireland temporarily stopped due to earthquake
The second Test between Bangladesh and Ireland, being played in Mirpur, Dhaka, was stopped temporarily because of an earthquake.
Just after the 55th over in the second innings on the third day of the match, with Ireland at 165 for five, the game was held up after tremors were felt on the ground.
“Goodness. Play has stopped here due to a minor tremor/earthquake,” Cricket Ireland wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.

According to local media in Bangladesh, the magnitude of the earthquake was over 5 on the Richter scale, with the epicentre being Ghorashal, Bangladesh.
The tremors remained for about 30 seconds before play resumed.
