Ranji Trophy 2025-26: Easwaran, Shami return to Bengal squad for Assam clash
Captain Abhimanyu Easwaran and ace pacer Mohammed Shami have returned to the Bengal squad for its Ranji Trophy Elite Group-C match against Assam at the Bengal Cricket Academy Ground, Kalyani, from November 16 to 19.
Shami has featured in three matches for Bengal this season, taking 15 wickets in them. However, he missed out on Bengal’s last match against Railways at Surat.
Easwaran, meanwhile, featured in Bengal’s first two games and scored 116 runs. He then left the squad to turn out for India A in its four-day game against South Africa A, where he registered ducks in both innings.
