South Africa-A registered the highest successful chase in ‘A’ Tests as it overhauled a 417-run target in the second game against India-A at the BCCI Centre of Excellence Ground 1 in Bengaluru on Sunday.

The Proteas went past the previous record, held by India-A, which had chased down 412 against Australia-A in Lucknow in September this year.
India A had taken the first innings lead by 34 runs and then declared at 382 for seven before declaring its second innings. South Africa A had close to three-and-a-half sessions to reach the total and it did in the extended final session of the final day.
