India A vs South Africa A: Rishabh Pant falls for just 17 on injury comeback

Indian wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant was dismissed for just 17 during India A’s first innings against South Africa A in the first multi-day match in Bengaluru on Friday.

Pant, who is captaining the India A side, was dismissed after he top-edged pacer Okuhle Cele to fine leg in the 41st over. The left-handed batter scored two fours during his brief time in the middle.

This game marks Pant’s return to competitive cricket after suffering a foot fracture during the fourth Test against England earlier this year.
