IND vs WI, 2nd Test: B. Sai Sudharsan takes field on Day 4 after impact injury
B. Sai Sudharsan will return to the field for India on Day 4 of its Test match against West Indies in New Delhi after not taking to the field on Day 3 due to an impact injury.
The left-hander suffered an injury while completing a catch at short leg during West Indies’ first innings. Opener John Campbell swept the ball into his hand from close proximity, and while he was able to complete the catch, the 23-year-old was in immediate discomfort and forced to leave the field.

A BCCI statement subsequently confirmed that Sudharsan had suffered an impact injury, and he did not take to the field on Day 3. Spare batter Devdutt Padikkal took to the field in his place on Day 3.
Sudharsan enjoyed a strong Test match with bat in hand, compiling an impressive 87 as India piled on the runs against West Indies.
