Most Test hundreds before turning 24: Jaiswal rises to joint-fourth behind Bradman, Sachin and Sobers
Indian opener Yashasvi Jaiswal slammed a hundred in the second Test against West Indies in New Delhi on Friday.
This was the 23-year-old Jaiswal’s seventh Test hundred and puts him in an elite company of Test batting.
Only three batters have scored more Test tons before turning 24 than Jaiswal – Donald Bradman (12), Sachin Tendulkar (11) and Garfield Sobers (nine).
Only two other openers have scored as many Test hundreds at his age than Jaiswal – Graeme Smith and Alastair Cook.
