England vs Bangladesh head-to-head: ENG-W vs BAN-W stats, records ahead of ICC Women’s ODI World Cup 2025 match
England and Bangladesh play only their second WODI when they face each other at an ICC Women’s ODI World Cup 2025 league match at the ACA Stadium in Guwahati on Tuesday.
Last time the two sides met was at the 2022 Women’s ODI World Cup, where the Englishwomen thrashed the Tigresses by 100 runs in Wellington.
Sophie Dunkley top-scored with a 72-ball 67, while Nat Sciver-Brunt’s handy 40 guided England to 234 for six. Salma Khatun finished with figures of two for 46 in 10 overs.
However, Bangladesh’s batters had no response to the spin duo of Sophie Ecclestone and Charlie Dean, who each picked three wickets, and were bundled out for 134.
Bangladesh, playing only in its second Women’s ODI World Cup, is coming on the back of a win against Pakistan, while four-time winner England hammered South Africa in its opener.
