PARIS, France – The journey for the eighth-seeded duo of Maya Iyengar of the USA and her partner Ruien Zhang of China has concluded in the first round of the 2025 Roland-Garros Girls’ Doubles competition.
The pair faced a tough challenge against the unseeded team of Maia Ilinca Burcescu of Romania and Luna Vujović of Serbia, falling in a straight-sets match with a final score of 6-2, 6-3.
This result marks the end of Iyengar’s run at this year’s French Open, following her earlier exit from the singles draw.
