Race 1. (15:24) Tabtouch – Westspeed Platinum (Rs0ly) 1200m

Back Me

3 Fortune’s Luck (Bet Now: $7.50) on top. Adam Durrant trained mare that won last Saturday over 1400m here, giving them a start and a beating, letting down with purpose late to win and win well. Back to 1200m is fine and maps ideally, plus gets Lucy sticking. Hard to beat.

Danger

5 Cryptic Joy (Bet Now: $8.00) can bounce back. He ran last Wednesday at Belmont and it was an ugly watch if you were on. He got badly held in behind before eventually getting clear and was good late. He’s knocking on the door to win again and despite a tricky gate, he’s in the mix.

Long Shot

9 Star Power (Bet Now: $19.00) is three weeks between runs since racing at this track/distance when wide no cover throughout and she just couldn’t quite get involved after the early work, tiring to finish down the track. Better run in transit, she can pinch first four.

Race 2. (15:59) Mca Polytrack Plate 1200m

Imagine what you could be buying instead.

Back Me

11 Snitzalatte (Bet Now: $3.10) steps up to 1200m after a debut win over 1000m here. I don’t think she beat a great deal but the way she went about it was impressive. Off that effort though, 1200m looks ideal and she should prove hard to beat against these.

Danger

13 Cawarra (Bet Now: $9.00) is a key threat for Neville Parnham. She debuted on Feb 22 over 1100m here when well supported in betting. She landed on speed and seemed to have her chance but was just feeling the pinch late in the piece. Freshened up, 1200m here, I say watch betting.

Long Shot

6 Hasani (Bet Now: $8.00) is a son of Dundeel that is on debut for Dan Morton. He has had two trials in readiness for start one, winning the latest one and was sharp. Keen to see how he goes against these so watch betting.

Race 3. (16:39) Old Comrade Stakes 1600m

Imagine what you could be buying instead.

Back Me

2 Watch Me Rock (Bet Now: $2.10) races as if he’ll be fine at 1800m. He got a 12/10 from Pike to win the Grandstand Cup two weeks ago, slicing his way through late and savaged the line to score. If the trip is fine, which I think it will be, he’s the one to beat.

Danger

3 Fluro Neuro (Bet Now: $3.30) ran second to Watch Me Rock in the Grandstand Cup. He got a lovely steer from CJP and looked all over the winner but had no answers ate for the finale of the stablemate. Consistent animal and should be around the mark.

Long Shot

6 Zephyra (Bet Now:
$SP.00
) is on the seven day back up after racing over the mile here last Saturday where she got back in the run and made up good ground without threatening behind d Trio. Not sure she is good enough to win but can run top four.

Race 4. (17:19) Wittens Irrigation & Design (Bm66+) 1400m

Imagine what you could be buying instead.

Back Me

3 Playing Games (Bet Now: $2.90) is on the seven day back up after racing here last Saturday at this trip where she should have won, won well, but she got badly held up in behind and it turned out to be a nightmare watch. She’s flying this mare and should take beating with clear air this time around.

Danger

8 Western Power (Bet Now: $6.00) is a Michael Grantham trained gelding that resumes. He is first up, having not raced since Oct 19 over the mile here when on speed and was game in defeat behind Arcadia Knight. Better suited over slightly further but does have a touch of quality about him. Watch betting.

Long Shot

4 Supportive (Bet Now: $9.50) looks suited up to 1400m after racing over 1200m here two weeks back where she got back to near last in the run and while she was never a winning threat, she kept finding the line and was pretty good in defeat behind Canny Rock. I think she’s one to be entertained for exotics.

Race 5. (18:00) Melvista Stakes 2200m

Imagine what you could be buying instead.

Back Me

1 Sail Session (Bet Now: $1.60) looks the winner, all things being equal. He was a dominant winner in the JC Roberts last time, sitting wide throughout before taking the front and he was quite dominant late in the piece. He looks to have a fair bit on this lot. Keen.

Danger

5 Superfluous (Bet Now: $5.00) is another that should appreciate a rise in trip from the JC Roberts. He just got too far out of his ground but was good late. If he can settle closer, be within range, he’ll be around the mark.

Long Shot

4 Net Zero (Bet Now: $14.00) comes through the JC Roberts as well and is one for exotics. I’d be forgiving of his run given he was wide no cover throughout and just couldn’t sustain the run when down the track. Better run in transit this time around, he can pinch first four at a price.

Race 6. (18:35) Singapore Pools Trophy 2025 (Bm72+) 1200m

Imagine what you could be buying instead.

Back Me

I dare say some of these are auditioning for The Quokka, namely 3 West Star (Bet Now: $2.10). He is a quality three year old for Simon Miller that resumes. He hasn’t raced since taking out the Belgravia and I am sure there was temptation to have a crack at the Winterbottom but he was spelled and has come back with The Quokka in mind. He looked great in a recent trial and has class/quality.

Danger

2 Petula (Bet Now: $4.80) has to be given another look. Simon Miller trained mare that was backed with confidence when resuming over 1000m here and after getting a suck run in transit, she was there to threaten but just whacked to the line. If she brings her best, she can win.

Long Shot

4 Cessation (Bet Now: $4.60) is three weeks between runs since a track/distance win, leading throughout and she gave nothing else a look in to win impressively. Good racing style, hard fit, she’ll acquit herself quite well. Leading contender.

Race 7. (19:15) Civil & General Happy 20Th Birthday (Rs1mw) 1200m

Imagine what you could be buying instead.

Back Me

8 Playing Around (Bet Now: $11.00) comes here with fresh legs, having not raced since March 1 over the mile here when attempting to lead throughout and he tried hard but tired late in the piece behind Here For Cheques. I do think back to 1200m and with a more patient steer, he can run a much improved race.

Danger

2 Objectify (Bet Now: $3.90) is a talented mare for Dan Morton that resumes. She is first up, having not raced since July 13 at Belmont when wide no cover over 1400m but was far from disgraced in defeat behind Berbere. Given a good break and her recent trial was strong.

Long Shot

7 Nobellity (Bet Now: $12.00) is two weeks between runs since racing at this track/distance when attempting to lead throughout and she gave a strong kick from the front but just couldn’t quite see it through when a close up third to Canny Rock. Good racing style, she’s in the mix.

Race 8. (19:50) Wa Oaks 2400m

Imagine what you could be buying instead.

Back Me

3 Twilight Tale (Bet Now: $3.60) just looks the better value for mine. Like most, she comes through the Natasha and I really liked the way she closed off her race in defeat behind Machine Gun Gracie. She is racing as if she’ll eat up 2400m and is bred to eat it up too. Hard to beat.

Danger

2 Machine Gun Gracie (Bet Now: $1.75) is the one to beat based on her dominant all the way display in the Natasha where she got front end control and gave nothing else a look in to win impressively. She has the runs on the board to say she’s one of the leading contenders.

Long Shot

1 Noahquintilly (Bet Now: $20.00) ran fourth to Machine Gun Gracie in the Natasha. She was near the speed throughout and seemingly had her chance but she battled away really well in defeat. Doubt she wins but she is one for exotics.

Race 9. (20:25) Solutions Matchmaking (Rs1mw) 1800m

Imagine what you could be buying instead.

Back Me

10 Pharoah Show (Bet Now: $4.60) was the eye catcher behind Sail Session in the JC Roberts from two weeks ago. He got back to near last in the run and while he was never a winning threat, he did make up good ground. He’ll take beating against these.

Danger

5 Blazing Emerald (Bet Now: $6.00) is racing well for Dan Morton and is one of the leading contenders off the back of a win at Pinjarra where she was ridden like she was the best horse in the race and won accordingly to win and win well. Has run well at metro level previously and strikes a winnable race.

Long Shot

2 Henchard (Bet Now: $15.00) is better suited at this level vs the Grandstand Cup from two weeks back. He was outclassed on paper but didn’t disgrace himself in defeat behind Watch Me Rock, who would be $1.50 against these. That from should read well for this kind of race.

BEST BET: Race Six Number 3 West Star

NEXT BEST: Race Three Number 2 Watch Me Rock

LONG SHOT: Race Nine Number 10 Pharoah Show

Quaddie Tips (Races Six Through To Nine):
